Effective date: 30 July 2026. This policy applies to personal information handled through the JK GLOBAL website and initial enquiries.
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how JK GLOBAL handles personal information when you browse this website, submit the consultation form, contact us by email or communicate with us about a possible service. If you later become a client, an engagement-specific privacy notice or contractual provision may also apply.
The website is intended for adults making business, residence or relocation enquiries. It is not directed to children under 18. A parent or guardian should contact us before providing information about a child.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, current location, selected area of interest, the page from which the enquiry was sent and the message describing your objective. We also receive information you choose to provide in later emails or conversations.
Please do not send passport copies, bank details, medical records, criminal records or original documents through the website enquiry form. If sensitive documents are needed for an agreed service, we will explain an appropriate collection method separately.
Technical and security information
Our hosting environment may generate standard request and error logs containing information such as network address, request time, browser or device information and the page requested. The enquiry form also converts the submitting network address into a one-way security identifier used for short-term rate limiting and duplicate-submission checks. The form does not store the plain network address in those temporary checks.
3. How and why we use information
We use personal information only where reasonably connected to the purpose for which it was provided, including to:
- receive, assess and respond to your enquiry;
- identify the relevant country, service team or professional input;
- arrange a consultation and communicate about possible next steps;
- prepare, enter into or administer an agreed engagement;
- maintain service, correspondence and compliance records;
- protect the website and enquiry system from spam, misuse and security incidents; and
- improve the clarity, reliability and usefulness of our website and service process.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use an initial enquiry for unrelated bulk marketing unless you separately request or consent to such communication.
4. Cookies, analytics and website logs
At the effective date above, this website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies. Essential browser or server functions may still process limited technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain security and prevent abuse.
If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and any consent mechanism required by applicable law will be provided.
5. When information may be shared
We may disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, including to website hosting, email delivery, IT support and security providers acting for us; to a JK GLOBAL team member responsible for the relevant market or service; or, after an appropriate discussion or engagement, to accountants, lawyers, immigration professionals, corporate service providers and other advisers needed for your matter.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order or a competent authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, systems or the integrity of our services.
International transfers
JK GLOBAL supports cross-border matters. Your enquiry may therefore be accessed or handled in a country different from your own. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use recipients and arrangements that provide an appropriate level of protection and limit the information shared to what is needed for the purpose.
6. How long information is kept
We retain enquiry and correspondence records only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage follow-up, establish or defend legal rights, meet legal or regulatory obligations and maintain appropriate business records. Closed or inactive enquiries are reviewed periodically and deleted or anonymised when there is no continuing business or legal need.
Short-term security files used for enquiry rate limiting and duplicate detection are designed to expire automatically. Hosting and email providers may retain technical logs or backups under their own controlled retention schedules.
7. How information is protected
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, validation and anti-abuse controls on the enquiry form, limited access to enquiry emails and controlled service-provider access. No website, email or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use the initial form only for non-sensitive enquiry information.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, withdraw consent or request portability. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification and record-retention obligations.
You may stop a non-essential communication at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal and may limit our ability to respond to or continue the requested service.
9. Contact and complaints
To ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable right, email info@jkglobal.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Please describe the information or request clearly. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing a record.
If you believe your information has not been handled appropriately, please contact us first so that we can investigate. You may also have the right to contact the data protection authority in the jurisdiction applicable to you.
10. Third-party links and policy updates
This website may link to government authorities, professional resources or other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
We may update this policy when our website, service model, providers or legal obligations change. A material revision will be shown by changing the effective date at the top of this page.
