A final transcript may arrive on one day and a completion letter on another. The PGWP file should be planned around the first date the school can issue the full evidence set, not the ceremony date.
What the official requirement is trying to solve
Education planning becomes an immigration and cash-flow question as soon as an offer is accepted. The Canada decision should therefore be tested against admission conditions, visa timing, funding and the student's actual study plan.
These cases often expose an earlier mismatch at the final step. Putting the person or entity, dates, account details and supporting documents on one page is usually more useful than moving repeatedly between portals.
Put four records side by side
Do not stop at the document title. Open the original and check dates, names and scope.
- Obtain official proof that the program was completed.
- Prepare the transcript showing the required study history.
- Add valid language results when the current rules require them.
- Provide field-of-study and medical evidence where applicable.
One common misunderstanding
The online checklist may label an upload slot as optional even when the rule makes the document necessary for that applicant. The legal requirement matters more than the portal label.
Completion is not the end of the file
Keep the school completion letter, transcript, language result, study-permit history, application receipt and every IRCC message in one graduation file.
Store the completion receipt with the source documents and set the next review date. A successful screen does not remove later duties.
